Mission Statement:

The Daytona Beach Paranormal Research Group, Inc. was founded by Dusty Smith in 1997. From 1997 to Present DBPRG, Inc. has conducted hundreds of paranormal investigations, as well as, helped in consultations via email and telephone. DBPRG, Inc., is a non-profit organization and never charges for its services. Donations and the members themselves support us.

Our goal is to gather and collate data that will hopefully someday lead to a better understanding of ghosts and hauntings. In the process of pursuing that goal, we also wish to aid any individuals having problems dealing with or understanding a given paranormal situation. We hope to do this by educating them as to the true nature of their situation and giving them the information and understanding to create a livable resolution for the person and/or the spirit. We will also assist people who cannot live wit h their situations or put them in contact with trained professionals who can assist them. We are open-minded to all theories and methods used in this field and know that the field of paranormal sciences is not an exact science. Everyone in the field of paranormal research learns as they go and with education, training and better methods of research--we hope to find answers to the age old questions of, “What happens to us when we die?” Hopefully--in the end--we will collect the necessary evidence using field-tested methods to prove the theories that are vital to bringing the subject of ghosts and haunting into the field of mainstream science.

All of our members are field trained and become a certified paranormal investigators over the course of time within DBPRG, Inc. either by taking courses outside of DBPRG, Inc. or by taking our own course.

DBPRG, Inc. has branches in areas all over the state of Florida including: central FL, the Panhandle, the Tampa area, Lake County, Marion County, Brevard County and the Orlando area. All of our members pride ourselves in assisting our clients through every phase of their case and keep their personal information strictly confidential--unless otherwise instructed by our clients.

*All DBPRG, Inc. members are required to donate an afternoon per month towards our historic cemetery preservation & restoration projects with our sister 501 ( c ) (3) non-profit corporation - The International Association of Cemetery Preservationists, Inc.. We assist them with all of their needs.*
