Halloween festivities haunt DAYTONA USA Oct. 25-26
Ghosts and goblins, not race car drivers, will invade DAYTONA USA as the 60,000 square-foot "Ultimate Haunted Motorsports Attraction" converts into a Halloween Spooktacular on Oct. 25 - 26.
DAYTONA USA, the "Official Attraction of NASCAR," is hosting the first-time event on both Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26 between 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Festivities both nights include games; food; prizes; kids' face painting, arts and crafts and costume contests; and a Heritage of Daytona haunted walk-through complete with Seaside Music Theater-donated costumes and props. And, Dusty Smith, storyteller with Ghost Walk of Daytona, will be sharing scary tales with trick-or-treaters of all ages.
Guest admission is $5 per person; ghosts and goblins ages 12 and under, dressed in costume, will be admitted free. The first 50 children admitted each night will receive a "Trick or Treat Kids Club" goodie bag.
Located at Daytona International Speedway, DAYTONA USA features a variety of hands-on activities designed to thrill audiences of all ages. Guests can ride Daytona's famous high banks, test their motorsports knowledge, call a race finish, visit the Daytona 500-winning car and much more! One of the attraction's newest features, ACCELERATION ALLEY, allows guests to accelerate to more than 200 mph in NASCAR simulators that combine motion, video and sound.
DAYTONA USA is open year-round with extended hours during racing events. For more information about DAYTONA USA's Halloween Spooktacular, please call (386) 947-6530.
